Joe Gilliard

Hi, I’m Joe Gilliard. I was a Valley Forge grantee at Palantir, where I built a global graph of beneficial ownership, control, influence, and sanctions data.

Before that I was a stress engineering intern at Gulfstream Aerospace at 16-17, building internal tooling across stress, weight and balance, seats, and compliance. One of those tools won the company-wide innovation award. I was a teaching assistant and valedictorian of the Aircraft Structural Technology Certificate program at Savannah Technical College my sophomore year.

I'm originally from the small town of Rincon, GA. I plan on moving to Washington, D.C. or New York City in the next few years.

I'm interested in a rather eclectic mix of things - economics, quant, defense, markets, politics, philosophy, math, and AI - though I'm mostly focused on defense and AI these days.
